June

June is here and it's summer!  I felt like I was gone half the month this year - probably because I really was.  I planned my trip to Arkansas for my friend's wedding before I got asked to be the Girl's Camp director, so I really was gone so much. Wade is awesome for never complaining and all our friends and my sister who stepped in and took care of everyone too.

I wish my June looked like the first part, when I had time for a 10 mile run and books every day...but it really didn't.

I took the kids to the DI one day to scope out deals and Avery found this LuLaRoe Skirt for $3!  Score!  She loves it and wears it all the time!

A trip up the canyon....

And the perfect Father's Day gift (but there is no way I was going to pay that much for it...hahah!)

I got a pay raise in Rodan and Fields in May - and got this awesome bracelet for hitting that goal in June.

Avery has been super busy with books and more books this summer....  she loves to read and to write and to color and cook.  She is so creative!  She signed up for piano, reading and cooking this summer.  She loves classes!

And girl's camp!  I haven't been to girl's camp in 22 years..and I was SO nervous for this calling.  But in the end I had a super fun time.  I loved it and the girls.

I asked them to take a picture of me on the zipline...and they took this instead!  silly girls!  Love them! I am sorry (not really sorry) that I woke them up so early every day.  I will sing annoyingly happy songs in the morning to anytime, any place!

Maybe this is why they didn't invite me to youth conference?....

Eli...I love Eli.  I don't even know what to capture this picture:

We surprised Wade with this new family portrait for Father's Day - the best part (for him) is that he didn't have to have his picture taken!  The best part for me was that I asked to look skinny - if you want a portrait or drawing done - we know a super awesome guy!

Kid's all passed their 6 month dentist appointments with no cavities.  All those teeth - times 5 - this is a huge deal!

I was able to go out with my favorite Relief Society ladies for pedicures and lunch.  We probably shoudln't call each other the relief society ladies anymore since we were released 6 months ago - but they will always be that to me.  And I love them!

Rodan and Fields had an event here in Utah and me and Christi were able to go and learn and have fun!

Wade took the kids to the rodeo while I was in Arkansas.  The best part was he started texting me Arkansas jokes from the rodeo...but he was at a rodeo and I was just shopping at target!  Who's looking more country now?

My best friend from high school got married in June.  There was no way I was going to miss it - so I flew to Arkansas for the wedding.  It was a super pretty location (and super hot).  I had a great time catching up with everyone!

Annslie was such beautiful bride and the ceremony was really touching too.

I was able to sneak out to the Monticello Branch on Sunday morning and see these awesome girls!  The Carr sisters are the BEST!  I loved seeing their babies and being at the branch.  The church is true and the spirit is wherever you go.  It was so nice to see the new church building too.

Love Debbie Worthen!  She was awesome when I was growing up and she still is.  I didn't get a picture with everyone I wanted - but I loved seeing them all.  Carol Bryant gave me a big hug and didn't even know it was me until after - because she is just so friendly and welcoming like that.  She hasn't changed a bit!  I miss my Monticello branch friends so much.  They are such amazing members!

And we hung out with Annslie and Heather a lot too...

And after all these fun trips...nothing was better than seeing these five little faces when I got in the car at the airport.  It might have made me cry a little to be home after all these trips.  I loved being gone, I loved camp and I loved seeing my friends in Arkansas, but I missed my family so much.

May

May is always super busy!  Between end of school craziness, life and our anniversary I decided it should be called Maycember....the new December.  Add to this that I got a calling to be the camp director with just a few short weeks before camp and it was NUTS at our house for a couple weeks.

First off...randomness of Gage.  Love this funny guy...

Another favorite book (really check out the book blog, I did a much better deal blogging about books this year on there, than I did on here.

Took the kids to Which-Which for dinner one night - I am super bummed the Lehi location closed.  It was one of our favorite places.

Gage and Charlotte got their Presidental pins for their service hours at the Literacy Center.

And Mother's Day we took some flowers to Wade's Mom.

and no one would agree to a mother's day group photo - so we did selfies this year....

And Wade did an awesome shrimp boil...

At our school this year we've had houses - similar to Harry Potter.  I have talked about it before on here.  In May they had a huge assembly and all the kindergartners were able to be sorted into their new houses.  It was really awesome!  I am a house mom and Eli got my house!  The principle says she has seen less trouble this year and more kids being responsible and helpful in the halls....so I think this is a really cool program!

Gage was awarded the house of Robur award - this means he exemplified a characteristic from each of the seven houses and it was a very cool award.  He was pretty surprised!

Lucy being silly while we shop...

Eli got to have his "summer birthday" party with kindergarten class.  His birthday is the day before school starts next year.

We went to Moab (again) in May.  I like to give the kids a list of things they can pack and let them pack themselves  Eli tried to pack the ab roller in his bag.  I guess he thought he would have time to work on his abs in Moab. lol

And we took lots and lots of Moab pictures...

Noah's teacher taught them how to sew this year....I don't even know what to say about this - because I don't have the patience to teach my own kids how to do this and she took a huge class of 3rd graders and did it!  She is AMAZING! Noah LOVES his bear and is pretty proud of himself for learning how to do it.

And then at the end of May came the end of the school year.
Eli was SO bummed to finish kindergarten.  He wouldn't even smile once.  He LOVES his teacher and doesn't want to go to first grade without her.

And 6th grade graduation.  I really might have cried a little - because this is crazy and a big day.  We are moving on to Jr. High next year!

And my triplet nephews graduated from high school!  I can't believe this either!  I moved to Lehi to help with them when they were babies and that is when I met Wade.  Now they are are super-tall-high-school-graduates-going on missions soon and pretty much adults!

Grandma and Grandpa came from Washington for Graduation and my kids take awesome pictures....

And last, but not least...the rest of the last day of school pictures:

Avery is super excited to move on to second grade....

Noah can't wait for fourth..

And Gage is moving on to junior high.
