Hot Chocolate Mix

We drink a LOT of hot chocolate around here.  I drink a cup at breakfast every day, and then if the kids see me with one, they have to have one.  3 more mugs later....

I made my own hot chocolate mix a few years ago and it was good, but I didn't write down the recipe. I thought it was time to mix up another batch this afternoon, so after looking through some recipes on Pinterest and All Recipes, I made up my own.   The bonus was that I had most of the ingredients on hand, so it really didn't cost me much out of pocket!  Score!

Hot Chocolate Mix:
2 Cups Powdered Sugar
1 Cup Cocoa
2 1/2 Cups Powdered Milk
1/2 Cup Creamer
1 teaspoon salt
2 teaspoons cornstarch
1 bag of milk chocolate chips, finely chopped in the food processor

Whisk all ingredeints in large bowl.

Store it in an air tight container.   And that's it!  I doubled the recipe and it made 3 quart jars.  Hopefully this will last us a while.

I like to add 2 to 3 tablespoons into my mug of hot water and top with marshmallows or whipped cream.

I think I might go have one right now.
